Research Engineer

A Jerusalem-based company is seeking a Research Engineer to work in Jerusalem, Har Hotzvim from 9 AM – 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Research New Technologies:Innovate and master the physics and math behind ongoing projects.
• Data Analysis:Apply mathematical and physical principles to solve specific problems (not involving big data).
• Experiment Development:Utilize electronic test equipment to conduct experiments that enhance understanding of development phenomena.
• Proof of Concept & Design:Lead R&D efforts by developing algorithms and proof of concept for systems.
• Software Development:Create software for device and system development, primarily using Python, focusing on architecture, design, style, and efficiency.
• Device Design Participation:Engage in the design phase of electrical and mechanical devices, understanding their components.

Qualifications:     

• Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following: Physics or Mathematics. An MSc. is a big advantage!
• Experience with applied physics andmath.
• People person, happy to share knowledge and explain concepts.
• ·Problem solving – Riddle solving and thinking out of box.
• Coding – good knowledge of python, no unique experience required.
• ·Basic knowledge of different kinds of communication protocols (TCP-IP, RS422, RS485…).

 Work Environment: Primarily onsite with some remote work.
